Pan for gold! A little over 12 miles up the road from Kawanhee Inn you’ll find Coos Canyon. Stop by Coos Canyon Rock and Gift for lessons and equipment rentals.

Go Bowling at Meadow Lanes Bowling. Meadow Lanes is a 16 lane split center packed with fun and enjoyment for everyone. They serve hot dogs, pizza, fries, hoagies, chicken fingers, and grilled cheese. They also have a popcorn machine and a vending machine for your snacking needs. Saturday Nites they offer Black Light Bowling!

See the waterfalls! 21 miles north of Kawanhee you’ll find Smalls Falls on the Sandy River. A short .1 mile hike with a 50 foot rise and fences blocking the dangerous drops is ideal for young hikers, while the scenic waterfalls, colorful gorge, fine swimming holes and picnic areas make it a remarkable experience for everyone.

Climb a Mountain. The Center Hill Nature Trail is a short hike over easy terrain suitable for most ages, but still provides amazing views, including our own Webb Lake.
